So I just had to share our house breaking situation with all of you who have thought that maybe it would be nice to own a Jindo.
It isn't going well.
Our whole house smells like a urinal.
I can't keep up with her and her peeing and pooping.
I am thinking maybe no more stupid dogs.
She seems to think my bathroom is also her bathroom. Okay that maybe a good thing considering it is easier to clean than the damn carpet. But everyday when I come back from swimming, and TH has left my bathroom door open I come in to find little piles of poop all over. Couldn't she just do it in one place instead of these little piles everywhere?
I just don't know, but I am careful every time I go into my bathroom. Visitors beware.

Confession: TSH can't smell worth a darn. I don't know if I do smell, but I know I can't smell EXCEPT for nail polish remover!!!! Nail polish remover goes directly to the brain - yucchhh!!!
ReplyDeleteThe mighty Jindo is loving, bity & sweet. She likes to climb ON the hedges to deposit her "waste" - thus, she need not dirty her delicate paws.
She actually is getting good about NOT peeing in the house - not perfect, but good. Unfortunately, she's way slower to learn than any dog we've had before. Way slower!
She will go outside & even have the door to the back open, but she'll still use T3's bathroom as her "pile place" (double yucchh!).
Visitors beware as well as occupants - Tolar also shows NO shame when she goes inside rather than out. Our last Jindo also had housebreaking problems, but she picked it up more quickly.
We can't get new carpets (or throw rugs & no carpets) until Tolar Bear becomes fully house trained & broken - can you spell 4th of July?
I think Tolar has learned how to open doors. She's maybe smarter (but more stubborn) than we think.
Arrrggghhh!!!!
Oh, and this should make me want a dog?
